Remembrance Month

The regular meeting if the Lodge took place kn thursday 6th November, 2025.

The Lodge marked Remembrance month with a memorable talk on the Hall Stone Jewel  by WBro Chris Binns PPJGW from the Lodge of Amity.

Afterwards at the festive board the WM presented  commemorative gavels bearing a Poppy pin to WBro Chris, abd WBros Steve Burd and Steve Cliffe.

Earlier in the week, a commemorative gavel was presented to WBro Anthony (Tony) Sharman . The gavel presented to Tony included a commemorative Chelsea Football.Club poppy pin and a Royal Artillery Pin. The former representing Tony’s life long support of Chelsea and the latter remembering his grandfather Harry Sharman who was a regular soldier in the Royal Garrison Artillery and was killed in 1916 on the Somme.

The Lodge intends to present other personalised gavel during the year.
